Here is a list of rules that I request all users to follow in order to make the site close to my ideal. Take the time to read these if you don't want to be banned (or at the very least insulted). 1. Do not be an idiot. I value intelligence and maturity above all. Do not make obviously stupid or immature decisions during your time here at Blue Thrills. A generic example of what I do not want to see would be as follows: : Idiot : Blue0ctane Who is your idol in life? My idol is Angelina Jolie because she's hot!You could easily turn that post into a valid one. : Reformed Idiot : Blue0ctane Who is your idol in life? My idol is Angelina Jolie because of the adoption work she does with underprivileged kids.In short, just use common sense. 2. Type properly. Posting on this forum requires grammar and spelling to be employed. Sure, typos are okay, but you must post like you were writing a paper for school. I don't want to see chatspeak, excluding the obvious entities such as LOL, WTF, ROFL, etc. Please keep the use of emoticons to a bare minimum. Anyone who uses chatspeak or poor grammar/spelling will be banned. I don't need to illustrate an example, but I will since it makes me feel good. Bad example: : Idiot I LUV SIXC FLAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) X IS THE GRATEST COASTER EVAR!!!!!!!! Good example: : Reformed Idiot I love Six Flags Magic Mountain. X is the best coaster I've ever been on. It's not that hard. 3. We promote free speech. This forum is a bit different than others, seeing as we have no language restraints (feel free to curse as much as you desire) and allow a slight amount of flaming. Racism is allowed if it's not directed in a derogatory way at a specific member (sarcastic or satirical racism is obviously permitted). On the subject of flaming, do not flame those out of your league. That means respect people who have been around longer than you and know the ropes better than you. Is that perfectly equal? No. Do I care? No. Anyway, this is unacceptable flaming because of the invalid points and whole "insulting the guy who runs the forum" thing: : Idiot with 15 posts blueoctane, shut the fuckup, you **** keke! how do you advertise yourself as a jew when you don't even believe in god? your not cool because your jewish. in fact your not cool at all. you think your so smart and mature. well you know what? **** YOU AND **** YOUR SITE. btw, blueoctane is a retarted username. By the way, I am indeed smart and mature. Look at how my argument is professionally constructed, while yours resembles a steaming pile of goatshit. This is fun. 4. Don't post illegal content. This mainly extends to pornographic material. I don't even care if there's naked **** on here, but posting kiddie ****, hentai, cocks, or whatever else is deemed illegal/inappropriate will get you a slam from the ban hammer. I'm alright with disturbing content; just keep it legal for those of us under 18. Bad example: : Idiot Check out this hot Rule 34 (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Rule%2034) of the pigs from Animal Farm getting it on! Good example: : Reformed Idiot Check out this nasty picture of the way they treat pigs at this farm! 5. If you're offended easily, feel free to leave. This was subliminally suggested on rules 3 and 4, but I felt the need to state it here. Don't **** complain if what somebody says offends you. I am not racist, but I am prone to saying things that are amazingly politically incorrect. Again, I want to post an unneeded series of examples. Bad: : Idiot : Blue0ctane **** affirmative action. Why hire a crack-smoking, Ebonics-speaking "nigga" who is far below competent over a hard-working white? Stop being **** racist, dude. And for the record, if not violating this rule means that you can't post your true thoughts (and you're uncomfortable with this), then simply don't post.
